Pre-Production: Planning Document 2

Image
This is the 2nd document from the pre-production planning document. This document shows the general information about our film. The general information section includes the title, genre, rating of the film, the theme, 4 words to describe the movie, and when the film is going to be released. This helps give me and my team a general run down about our film and having this on copy also helps give the actors a run down about the film and what character personality's  they need to portray . This document also shows the audience section of the planning document. The audience section gives a run down about what kind of audience that the film is trying to target and certain demographics and psychographics . It also gives a run down about how me and my team are planning to engage our targeted audience and get them to interact with the film.

Pre-Production: Planning Document 1

Image
This document is from the pre-production planning document. Shown is the production logo and a further description of the logo. While creating the production logo me and my team wanted to make sure to include the horror aspect to the logo considering our film is a horror film. The blood drip and the red letters help add that thriller/horror aspect and give the effect that our production company produces horror/thriller films. The B on the logo helps stand for Bengal and that adds most personality and character to the logo.

These 6 techniques are very popular in films and can be found in many films. In the my film, I plan to use some of these popular techniques. I would use the establishing shot to show the setting of the film to set the mood. I would also use the hard cut technique to cut in between scenes.  Furthermore, 2 sound techniques are Assonance and sibilance. These 2 techniques are just some of the few techniques that are popular in the film industry. Since my film is a horror/thriller film I could use the sibilance technique to show a characters emotions.
