Research: Exercise 3: Acting

The objective of this assignment was to work in groups of (2 or 3) to analyze the elements of setting, acting, costumes, hair, and makeup and did they support the genre of a film opening of their choice. Acting is the practice of acting in stage productions, motion pictures, or television shows. In acting there are many different advantages to acting, including the following: It serves as a reminder of long-forgotten moments in the past or a window into a potential future. It shows our true, pure, emotional, vulnerable, and even nasty, terrible humanity. It stimulates feeling, reflection, conversation, awareness, or maybe even imagination. Good acting in a film betters the movie because it helps keep the audience interested in the film and helps the audience get a better understanding of the film.

In this assignment I learned that good acting in film is important because without it the film would be interesting, and the goal of a film is to keep, and audience interested and engaged in the film. The goal of the exercise was to understand and show that we understood the elements of Mise en Scene and could show that we did understand how Mise en Scene worked. My team applying Mise en Scene to the opening clip of a film helped us get a better understanding of the film and also how good acting plays a big role in creating a film. On this assignment 3 students worked on creating it. Summa. W, Aleymar. N, and me (Alivia. C).
