Preliminary Exercise: Camera Movement Video Storyboard

In this assignment the objective was to be able to discuss the key concepts of media studies and apply the key concepts of camera movement, shot sizes, angles, framing, and elements of mise en scene in preparation for our opening film sequence. After analyzing and studying these concepts and techniques, we were instructed to create a storyboard with the different camera movement shots. The different camera movement shots we worked on were: Static shot, Random Movement, Pan Shot, Tilt, Zoom in, Zoom out, Tracking, Trucking, Push in. When completing this assignment me and my teammate created images with an action to describe what the picture was showing. At the end of this assignment I learned the different Camera Movement techniques and was able to illustrate what those selected Camera Movements looked like.
