Preliminary Exercise: My Camera Work: Camera Framing

In this lesson the main goal was to apply the camera work techniques and create the camera shots for the main concepts of camerawork, shot size, camera angles, camera framing, and camera composition. In the assignment we had to put together a PowerPoint that was divided into four separate sections. The four sections were: Section 1: Shot Sizes, Section 2: Camera Angles, Section 3: Camera Framing, Section 4: Camera Composition. In the Third section we had to take pictures that showed different Camera Framing shots and define their purpose. A Camera framing shot is the placement and position of the subjects in your shots. Camera framing shots are important because it can make the shot more pleasing to the audience and keep the viewer focused.

In this assignment we learned how to take pictures of different Camera Framing shots and be able to explain their purposes. We also were able to get a deeper understanding on why Camera Framing shots are used and why they are important. The different Camera Framing shots we learned about and worked on were: #1 Single shot, #2 Two shot, #3 Three shot, #4 Four shot, #5 Crowd shot, #6 Over-the-shoulder shot, #7 Point-of-view shot, #8 Insert shot. In this assignment me (Alivia .C) and my teammate Summa. W worked on creating the PowerPoint
